What types of fiber optic cables do you supply?

We supply a comprehensive range of professional-grade fiber optic cables including MPO/MTP trunk cables, breakout cables, and patch cords. Our product line covers all major fiber types: OS2 single-mode (9/125μm) for long-distance applications, OM3 multimode (50/125μm) for 10G networks, and OM4 multimode (50/125μm) for 40G/100G data center deployments. All cables feature elite low-loss connectors with 0.35dB maximum insertion loss, factory termination, and comprehensive testing. We offer both LSZH and Plenum (OFNP) jacket options in various lengths from 1 meter to 100+ meters, with custom configurations available upon request.

Do you provide installation services or just sell products?

We provide complete end-to-end solutions including both product supply and professional installation services. Our certified technicians handle data center installations, fiber optic deployments, structured cabling systems, and network infrastructure projects throughout Texas and nationwide. Services include rack and stack installations, fiber splicing and termination, OTDR testing and certification, network equipment deployment, and complete documentation with as-built drawings. Whether you need cables only or a complete turnkey installation, we deliver solutions tailored to your specific requirements. Our team holds industry certifications including BICSI and manufacturer-specific training.

What is the difference between MPO and MTP connectors?

MTP is a high-performance MPO connector manufactured by US Conec that fully complies with the generic MPO interface standard (IEC 61754-7). While both MPO and MTP connectors are mechanically compatible and can mate with each other, MTP connectors feature enhanced mechanical precision, improved manufacturing tolerances, and superior reliability compared to generic MPO connectors. The MTP design includes a removable housing, better ferrule geometry control, and more consistent performance. We supply cables with both US Conec MTP® compatible connectors and premium MPO Plus™ connectors from Senko, ensuring you receive the highest quality connections for your mission-critical applications. For most data center applications, the terms are used interchangeably as the connectors are fully compatible.

What areas do you serve?

We are headquartered in Texas and provide comprehensive services throughout the state including Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, and all surrounding areas. Our Texas-based location allows us to offer rapid response times and local support for projects across the state. Additionally, we serve clients nationwide with installation capabilities in all 50 states. Our teams travel to job sites across the United States for data center installations, fiber deployments, and network infrastructure projects. Whether you’re in Texas or anywhere in the US, we deliver the same high-quality products and professional service. We also provide 24/7 emergency support for critical infrastructure issues.

How quickly can I get a quote?

We provide fast, professional quotes with most requests answered the same business day. For standard catalog products like MPO/MTP trunk cables and breakout cables in common lengths, quotes are typically provided within 2-4 hours during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST). Custom cable configurations, large volume orders, or complete installation project quotes may take 24-48 hours as we ensure accuracy in specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines. To expedite your quote request, please provide as much detail as possible including cable types, fiber modes, lengths, quantities, and project timeline. You can request quotes via phone at+1 (945) 366-3837
, email at info@excellentittelecomsolutions.com, or through our online quote form.

Do you offer custom cable lengths and configurations?

Yes, we specialize in custom fiber optic cable assemblies tailored to your exact specifications. While we stock common lengths (1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 10m), we can manufacture cables in any length from 0.5 meters to 100+ meters. Custom options include specific polarity types (Type A, B, or C), special jacket materials, non-standard fiber counts, unique connector combinations, and custom labeling. All custom cables undergo the same rigorous factory termination and testing as our standard products, with full documentation provided. Standard product orders typically ship within 2-5 business days, while custom configurations generally require 2-3 weeks for manufacturing and testing. Our engineering team can assist with design recommendations to ensure your custom cables meet your exact application requirements.

What certifications and standards do your products meet?

All our fiber optic cables comply with relevant international standards and undergo comprehensive quality control testing. Products meet TIA/EIA-568-C structured cabling standards, ISO/IEC 11801 international cabling standards, and IEC 61754-7 MPO connector specifications. Our cables use premium components including Corning® ClearCurve® multimode fiber and SMF-28® Ultra single-mode fiber. Elite-grade connectors achieve 0.35dB maximum insertion loss (0.15dB typical), exceeding standard performance requirements. We are authorized distributors for leading manufacturers including US Conec, Corning, and Senko. All products come with manufacturer warranties and full test documentation. Our installation team holds BICSI certifications and follows industry best practices on every project. We can provide compliance documentation, test reports, and certifications as needed for your project requirements.

Can you help me determine which products I need for my project?

Absolutely! Our experienced engineers provide free technical consultation to help you select the right products for your specific application. We’ll discuss your network architecture, distance requirements, speed requirements (10G/40G/100G), equipment compatibility, and future expansion plans. Common considerations include choosing between single-mode and multimode fiber, selecting appropriate polarity types (especially important for parallel optics), determining proper cable lengths to avoid excess slack, and deciding between LSZH and Plenum jacket types based on building codes. We can review equipment specifications, suggest optimal cable routing strategies, and calculate fiber optic loss budgets to ensure reliable operation. Simply contact us with your project details and we’ll provide expert recommendations. We can also provide installation services to implement the complete solution.

What is your return policy and product warranty?

All our fiber optic cables are backed by manufacturer warranties covering defects in materials and workmanship. Standard warranty periods range from 1-3 years depending on the specific product and manufacturer. Warranty coverage includes replacement of defective cables but does not cover damage from improper installation, exceeding specifications (such as minimum bend radius or maximum tensile load), or normal wear and tear. For unused products in original packaging, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase with a restocking fee. Custom-configured cables are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect. We stand behind the quality of every product we supply – if you receive a defective cable, we’ll replace it promptly. For installation projects, we provide workmanship warranties and will address any issues resulting from our installation. Contact our support team for specific warranty details on your products or to initiate a return or warranty claim.
